************************************************************
*****************Before dehydrator************
Well, the Raw Goddess did it again! another YUMY recipe!! was SOOO good!! 'cept on the crust i haven't heard alot of good things about sprouted buckwheat, so i used the regular sprouts I had on hand.
Crust:
handful of spouts
handful walnuts,
1/2 c. ground yellow flax
apple
sea salt
hemp oil
enough water to make "dough"
process together, put spoonfuls on dehydrator sheets. I dehydrated mine about 3 hours on each side. refrig. till you want to use them.
Sauce:
Soak cashews in water (how ever much sauce you would like: approx 1c. each) while you prepare veggies
then add:
juice from one lemon
1 crushed clove of garlic
sea salt to taste
1 squirt of agave
Blend until COMPLETELY creamy
Add to sauce:
finely chopped zucchini, red pepper, mushrooms, broccoli, and spinach.
Mix sauce and veggies, spoon into serving bowls top with crust. brush crust with hemp oil and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Place in dehydrator for 3 hours (to warm).

VERY intresting from Deania....smart sis!!
I don't know just how true all this is, but it does make some sense to me. Here is just a short list of examples of "Whole Food Signatures."
A sliced Carrot looks like the human eye The pupil, iris and radiating lines look just like the human eye...and YES science now shows that carrots greatly enhance blood flow to and function of the eyes.
A Tomato has four chambers and is red. The heart is red and has four chambers. All of the research shows tomatoes are indeed pure heart and blood food.
Grapes hang in a cluster that has the shape of the heart. Each grape looks like a blood cell and all of the research today shows that grapes are also profound heart and blood vitalizing food.
A Walnut looks like a little brain, a left and right hemisphere, upper cerebrums and lower cerebellums. Even the wrinkles or folds are on the nut just like the neo-cortex. We now know that walnuts help develop over 3 dozen neuron-transmitters for brain function.
Kidney Beans actually heal and help maintain kidney function and yes, they look exactly like the human kidneys.
Celery, Bok Choy, Rhubarb and more look just like bones. These foods specifically target bone strength. Bones are 23% sodium and these foods are 23% sodium. If you don't have enough sodium in your diet the body pulls it from the bones, making them weak. These foods replenish the skeletal needs of the body.
Eggplant, Avocadoes and Pears target the health and function of the womb and cervix of the female - they look just like these organs. Today's research shows that when a woman eats 1 avocado a week, it balances hormones, sheds unwanted birth weight and prevents cervical cancers. And how profound is this? .... It takes exactly 9 months to grow an avocado from blossom to ripened fruit. There are over 14,000 photolytic chemica l cons tituents of nutrition in each one of these foods (modern science has only studied and named about 141 of them).
Figs are full of seeds and hang in twos when they grow. Figs increase the motility of male sperm and increase the numbers of S perm a S well to overcome male sterility.
Sweet Potatoes look like the pancreas and actually balance the glycemic index of diabetics.
Olives assist the health and function of the ovaries
Grapefruits, Oranges, and other Citrus fruits look just like the mammary glands of the female and actually assist the health of the breasts and the movement of lymph in and out of the breasts.
Onions look like body cells. Today's research shows that onions help clear waste materials from all of the body cells They even produce tears which wash the epithelial layers of the eyes

Humm.... Interesting...Read this on the net today....
"The violent change that microwaving causes to the food molecules forms new life forms called radiolytic compounds.
These are mutations that are unknown in the natural world. Ordinary cooking also causes the formation of some radiolytic compounds (which is no doubt one reason why it is better to eat plenty of raw food), but microwaving cooking causes a much greater number.
This then causes deterioration in your blood and immune system. In addition, they found that the number of leucocytes increases after eating microwaved food - something which haematologists take very seriously, because this is often a sign of highly harmful effects, such as poisoning.
Also, after eating microwaved food, cholesterol levels increased. Hertel said "Common scientific belief states that cholesterol values usually alter slowly over longer periods of time. In this study, the markers increased rapidly after the consumption of the microwaved vegetables." He believes his study tends to confirm new scientific data that suggest cholesterol may rapidly increase in the blood secondary to acute stress. "Also," he added, "blood cholesterol levels are less influenced by cholesterol content of food than by stress factors. Such stress-causing factors can apparently consist of foods which contain virtually no cholesterol - the microwaved vegetables."
In Summary: Blanc and Hertel found that eating microwaved food:
Increases cholesterol
Increases white blood cell numbers
Decreases red blood cell numbers
Causes production of radiolytic compounds (compounds unknown in nature)"

What'cha eatin'?!?!
Produce:
organically grown, genetically modified or conventional:
Genetically engineered (GM) fruit has a five-numeral PLU prefaced by the number 8.
organically grown, genetically modified or conventional: by reading the PLU code, you can tell if the produce you buy was genetically modified, organically grown or produced with chemical fertilizers, fungicides, or herbicides.
Here's how it works:
For conventionally grown fruit, (grown with chemicals inputs), the PLU code on the sticker consists of four numbers.
Organically grown fruit has a five-numeral PLU prefaced by the number 9.
Genetically engineered (GM) fruit has a five-numeral PLU prefaced by the number 8. Saturday, December 15, 2007

snacks
I made a snack the kids actually liked today!
sliced pears and apples with the mandolin (really thin)
spread on dehydrator sheets
spray with fresh squeezed lemon juice
dehydrate to desired crispness
If you don't have a dehydrator you could try setting the oven at the lowest temp setting, propping the door open with a hot pad and setting an oven thermometer in the oven and monitor it. I never had much luck with this but it is worth a try.....
